We provide support for these employees to improve their literacy and numeracy skills, improve confidence in their job role and gain a nationally recognised qualification.

They can:

SKILLS FOR LIFE....are functional english and maths which we use everyday such as writing reports, emails, estimates, studying for other qualifications or simply helping with childrens’ homework or dealing with household bills.

-   give you more confidence in your own abilities

-   show what you have achieved in your learning
    programme

-   boost your CV help you get onto other courses
    such as NVQ

-  are over 18 years of age and have left
   compulsory full-time education

-  do not have an up-to-date English or Maths
   qualification at level 2 on the National
   Qualification Framework

-  have completed a diagnostic assessment, with    below  level 2 attainment
